A bucket list is a wonderful thing. So many of us have the, with varying ideas. Small things like learning a new language or get to a certain weight to more adventurous things like skydiving or scuba diving. The world is your oyster and there are so many things to do and places to explore to suit everyone and their preferences and passions. Here are 4 fun ideas on things you could add to your to-do list this year.

Explore A New Culture
Take a gap year and live somewhere new and full of culture for a year. The world is full of wonderful places and for some people, a couple of weeks' holiday just isn’t enough. If you have the option a great thing to do would be to choose somewhere you adore and pack up and live there for a year. You are likely to pick up a new language, explore a new culture and have a lot of fun making new friends. If moving abroad is something you want to do, it is best to get some advice from an immigration lawyer about what visas you will need and making sure all the paperwork and legal documents are filled out correctly.
Try Volunteering
Another thing you could add to your bucket list could be for someone else. Look at giving back to the community and others in need, there are so many different things you could do from litter picking, volunteering at a local animal rescue centre to bigger things like volunteering on a programme to look after elephants or something like visiting children in need in places of poverty and teaching them things. It is very rewarding and something you can take a lot away from as an experience well. Not to mention things like that look great on a job application.
Learn A New Skill
Learning something new seems like a basic task but we mean something you have always wanted to do. If you have always wanted to learn to cook properly take a cooking class, if you have always wanted to paint professionally then do it. Add something you’ve always wanted to do or learn then add it to the list. You never know if you don’t try and it is such an amazing thing in life to find people who have the same interests as you and form long friendships.
Add An Exercise-Related Goal
An exercise-related option could be to run a race, starting with something small then work your way up. Running a race takes discipline and dedication. It isn’t easy but you will feel so accomplished and proud of yourself once you have done it. You will have a medal to prove you have done it and it can help you get in shape if you need that push of working towards a deadline.
Bucket lists are so personal and there are so many things you can put on them but these are some great options to consider adding! So pop them on your list and give them a go.
